God’s Purpose
Scripture reveals one grand story: God is restoring creation and reaching every people, tribe and nation with the gospel. We are invited to know Him, make Him known and faithfully play our part.
CBC Churchwide · Event Review
Encounter. Equip. Engage. Young adults gathered to discover what it means to live God’s mission on campus, in the workplace and wherever He has placed us.
CBC’s English centres came together for three days of worship, biblical teaching, small-group devotion, games and honest conversations. Beyond the programme, the camp created space for friendships to grow across centres and reminded us that we share one faith, one mission and one calling in Christ.
As young adults prayed, learned and served alongside one another, familiar boundaries became smaller and our shared identity became clearer. We are not separate groups pursuing separate goals. We are one CBC family, sent together to make Christ known.
Message summary
Scripture reveals one grand story: God is restoring creation and reaching every people, tribe and nation with the gospel. We are invited to know Him, make Him known and faithfully play our part.
God works through His Church. We carry His presence into people’s lives by showing up, building trust and sharing the unchanging gospel clearly, without creating unnecessary barriers.
Mission begins with abiding in Christ. We follow with humility, learn from others, love sacrificially and take up our cross daily. Christ is the hero; our calling is to remain faithful and keep going.
Camp speaker
Daniel combines engineering and leadership experience with a deep passion for Christian mission and community impact. After a decade in aerospace engineering, he served as director of a Christian NGO in New York City and later entered entrepreneurship.
His varied experience across the workplace, ministry and family life helped him speak practically about living missionally and making disciples who make disciples. Daniel and his wife, Janice, have been married for more than 20 years and have three sons.
Relive the worship, friendships, learning and joyful moments shared across the CBC English centres.
The camp may have ended, but the mission continues. We return to our campuses, workplaces, families and communities with a renewed desire to pray for people, build genuine relationships, embody the gospel and make Christ known. Let us start where we are, and keep going together.
